cooling fan always on.
i have a 94 sl1 sohc. the previous owner before me had the fan rewired so that its always on. does anyone know where i could find an online wire schematic to fix this or would anyone be able to explain how?

only god knows how he wired it. i can guess he did this because the fan wasn't coming on when he thought it should, which it a common side effect of a bad ECT (http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24003)
if the wiring was correct, this is a diagnosis for a fan no run - http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41736 here is how to install a manual fan switch - http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23668 with that thread you may be able to get a idea for the wiring. if i was to override a fan, i would short out the relay, most people however would cut and hack into the wires to the fan. first start by visually inspecting the wiring loom for obivuos alterations.

if i do a manual switch itll be hard to tell if the things connecting to the fan are woking properly
