Cool It's finally time to move out...

Well guys, I just got an apartment with my girlfriend and have been moving stuff into it for the last week or so. It's so awesome, it's huge! 2 bedroom apartment with a huge living room, kitchen, bathroom, and massive walk-in closets all over the place. 330 a month. I was pretty excited cause now I can move out and have my personal freedom finally. My parents weren't the happiest about it at first but now they are actually being sensible with me. They are big church people and are against people living together before marriage. I call BS on that and think its good for getting to know the other person better before your stuck with em the rest of your life. They say I'm gonna be "living in sin" but I'm like whatever... This may delay the Talon project a little bit but not as much as I thought it would. Before it would take me almost 8 months to do everything I wanna do before its road worthy again. So, me doing this little move pushes it to about 1 year now. Oh well... Either way it wasn't gonna see the road till almost next spring. I suppose this gives me plenty of time to do everything right so I don't rush anything on it.

Anyways, I just thought I'd share my good news and also explain why I might not be on here as much for a while. I figure I won't have internet right away until everything is in place and figured out.

Re: It's finally time to move out...

wow, that is a good price for an apartment!!

good luck with your new apartment. 330 really is a steal. my gf's dad rents apartments here (older ones) for something like 450 per month and i don't think it has anywhere near 750 sq. ft. of living space!!

Re: It's finally time to move out...

My 750 sq foot 2 bedroom unit goes for $1000. Luckily I own it and my mortgage is a little more than half that Of course it also went up 40k in value since I bought it 2 years ago. Renting sucks, just throwing the money away, but it's how we all got started. 330 is less than what I pay in car insurance most of the time anyway I guess Congrats on the move, enjoy it.

Where do you live at?

Thanks everybody, I can't wait to just have a place of my own to call home. lol I'll try to get some pictures of it up when we get moved in completely. Its supposed to rain for the next week or so, so it'll probably be sometime towards the end of next week when we move the last few things in. Oh well, it'll be payday too and then I can fill the fridge and cupboards. Gotta love the dollar store. lol

congrats enjoy it. And I don't agree with the living in sin either. Believe me once you live with them they are completely different people.
