Re: speaker size

rears are... 6 and a 1/2 rounds fronts are some preamped peice of garbage. with a little bit of work you can stick a 6x9 up front if I remember correctly, the stock thing that come out is about the same size. why?

Re: speaker size

Ohh yeah. I am fairly sure they are 61/2's in the back as my 51/4's are almost too small for back there

Re: speaker size

Cut the speaker incloser and set an 8" in it, just reseal the lower section near the strut to keep anything from getting up into the speaker.

Re: speaker size

We've done that, it just lacks sound. So we put 2 12's back there.. 2 51/4 components... and yeah sa set of 6x9 coaxils. That basicaly did the sound fairly nice...

Re: speaker size

The ones under the dash. You can/should beable to replace them with 6x9's might have to do a little fancy work but that's just the way somethings have been.

take out stock speaker. Test fit 6x9 cut anything needed to be cut, create a little box/sealed enclosure for it.
