another check engine light question.

Back when I had a 1993 coupe SE and my current 1992 base model hatch, I was going to do the digital gauge cluster swap. I took the clusters out, along with the sub-harness. I swapped the analog into the coupe, and it worked just fine. I went and put the digital cluster and harness into the fastback, and the digital speedo got a tach signal I suppose, cause it was at about 50mph at idle, and would go up to 123 around 4k RPM.

well, after that, I just swapped everything back. Then I realized that whenever I turned the key forward, the check engine light would not light up. I took the cluster out again, and the light bulb is fine. All fuses in the driver side kick panel are good.

And also, I can't read any codes from my ECU, cause the light wont even light up on the ECU.

I'd appreciate any help you guys could give me.

Is something in the ecu blown?...cause its a JWT, and might be expensive to replace, but I'll check the warranty.
