need help with the best car ever!

I just purchased a 1994 Z/28 W/ a six speed! It is the shit! I was wondering if anyone knew what would be the first essential mods I would have to perform before making any real power.(i.e. computer programing, ignition, rear end, ETC.) I know the skip shift elim. is a must and also a high performance clutch. what is a good clutch company that has a clutch that could support 4oo hp easily? Also what is a good head/cam package that could give about 400 Horse?

Re: need help with the best car ever!

First mods you should do are breathing mods.. (CAI, full cat exhaust) then continue on with that..

Re: need help with the best car ever!

yeah exhaust, cai, headers and y-pipe, bigger spark plug wires and quality plugs. All of this will get you a long way and will be supporting mods if you do a h/c swap in the future. Stock LT1 heads will take you very far though. Just have them ported and polished and they will breath way into the 400hp range.
