tonight's disaster..

so i've been missing school a lot lately..oops. for gym if ur gone you have to make up an hour for every hour and a half you miss. thank god my teacher is cool and told me all i have to do is bake cookies for my class instead of making up 3 hours of hiking. the problem is...i'm not the greatest housebitch. i love cooking but i pretty much suck at it. i try so hard not to ruin my cookies or w/e else i'm making but i keep failing not to mention i suck at laundry too. at least i can clean....

here's a pic of tonight's cookie..half eaten cuz i coudln't even bring myself to finish the other half

it's an ugly color cuz i put the M & M's in first instead of last cuz i wasn't thinking and just wanted to see all the pretty colors. and i think i cooked them too long or something cuz they're super flat and crispy-like...i'm such a cookie failure

Re: tonight's disaster..

A woman that can't cook or do laundry I hope you have a good career goal, cause otherwise whoever you marry is gonna starve to death wearing dirty underwear.

Cookie looks like a funky color. Make some Mac & Cheese. No one can mess that up. Then work your way up from there.

Re: tonight's disaster..

so i just got back from giving out the cookies for class. most people liked them...i was giving them to a few people as they walked past the table i was at, then later i walked around and gave them to people. i walked up to the area where some of the football guys were and the people with them and asked if they wanted some. they said no they already got some, and pointed to the cookies they had smashed into the sidewalk. why do people have to be such assholes? a simple "no" would've sufficed

Re: tonight's disaster..

I find the best cookie recipe came off nestle tolhouse chocolate chips from many years back, my family's been using that recipe for years with no failures. they turn out awsome, they look and taste great with a crispy chewy texture.

anyways no sweat if they turned out badly, just get some practice and do exactly as the instructions tell you, dont try to improvise until you can do that. once you've got that down start getting creative with the recipes.

Re: tonight's disaster..

I didn't know it was possible to be bad at laundry...

As far as cooking, I've always thought that if your mom and grandma were good at it, you were too. I'm slowly learning that's not the case and I suck. However, I can bake cookies...

My man can cook.

Edit - I'm gonna go make some brownies. Mmmm...walnut brownies.
