what would you do if you had the money

i just got 2000 for upgrades for my car. I have a 91 crx si that is in pretty good shape. I want to get back into solo 2 autcross again. The car is bone stock except for 99 si rims with falken azenis tires. I dont want to go up further than street prepared. My question is what would you do to get the best autocross car? I dont have access to do work my self and i am nervous about letting someone do work on my car but if i can find some one in phoenix then i am game if they really know what they are doin.

ya, i know but the people i do know that could help me help i dont trust as far as their knowledge and them doing it right and not doing a ghetto job. I figure i need suspension, brake upgrades. I know i can be competitive without any engine upgrades. I have done it before. any one in phoenix reliable?

Brakes are easy. You can get full coil-over suspension, install yourself and have alignment done for cheap. What about a simple k&n air filter replacement, cut the silencer crap out of the air box. Then maybe get a header and cat-back exhaust or just a nice 2" custom deal. I'm sure the suspension would be fine the way it is. If later on you find you need more aggressive handling, you can go the coil-over route.

Just thought of something. Since HASport is in/near Phoenix. You should check out their dumpsters... haha. I would. They probably throw out perfectly good headers and shit like that.
