just got an 87 grand marquis! parts suppliers?
Hey everyone! I just got me an 87. Burgundy interior and exterior, very few rust bubble spots under paint and frame rust. The car only has 118k miles on it. I love the thing.
![]() Anyway, I have a few questions. What size V8 did they put in these things? Because I have no clue. I don't know much about these cars in general. I mostly just know alot about the old Rangers, as an 88 Ranger is my main vehicle. ![]() Also, are there any parts suppliers out there for this vehicle? Like there's LMC truck that supplies TONS of parts for Rangers, F-series trucks, and some GM vehicles but I dunno which. Basically any parts that you'd ever need; engine, transmission, interior, body panels, etc. Is there a company like that for Crown Vics/Grand Marquis? And last question. This is a bit far fetched but... is it at all possible to get it swapped to a manual transmission, and manual steering? I mainly just want to find a parts supplier to replace some worn out and rusted stuff, somewhat of a restore you could say! Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
