2002 VW Golf Hatch will not unlock
I have a 2002 VW Golf. The Hatch will not unlock. When I try to open it from the keyless entry or inside the car, it makes a noise but does not unlatch. The key does not go into the key whole - never did - so i cannot get into it that way. How Can i get the hatch topen from inside the car? does anyone have a diagram or piece of advice?

You can get into your trunk from the back seats. You will need to remove the trunk cover. There is two phillips screws in the handles, one in each handle. Remove the screws and pull the trunk cover out. You will bealbe to see the motor and rods for the trunk latch and bealbe to open your trunk.
