2001 2.4L GASE Oil PSI

i know the min is 10PSI @ 900RPM and 30PSI @ 3000RPM, when i first hooked the oil gauge up it was at 75PSI and would go up when you hit the gas , no at idle around 600RPM it sits @ 25PSI and when im driving say 3000-4000 RPM it sits at 70-75PSI im not worried im just curious if that is normal, i couldnt find anything on PSI when driving.

Thanks

Re: 2001 2.4L GASE Oil PSI

So you finally got your guage. The first time you hooked it up it might hav been calibrating itself.
So where'd you put the guage ?

At idle 25psi does seem low, but it is a 4cyl, and with in range.
And 70psi at those rps is about right too. If your WOT it'll be a higher Psi, its supposed to do that to lube the motor properly.
