Re: Best Intercooler kit

I voted other.

In my opinion, I would get a Custom Coach 14 inch front mount for the 3/S's, polished, single in and single out, then get the piping from PPE Engineering. Of course, you can get the entire kit from PPE engineering, but what i stated is the second most cost effective and good quality. The most cost effective and good quality is to get a custom coach 14 inch front mount and make your own pipes.

Re: Best Intercooler kit

Personally, i like the HKS duals in the stock locations. I dont know if that can support the power, though. Too bad its so expensive.

Re: Best Intercooler kit

I've heard the HKS sidemoounts have some fitment issues. Plus I wouldn't spend that much on sidemounts. For that price go with a front mount.
The DSMs are so close to the HKS in size, and less than half the price.

I don't honestly know exactly where the limitations of the DSMs are. I know Mellon ran low 11s on his (i think). I personally would think they would be fine with any TD04, but would go FMIC with TD05s

If you are serious about 600hp, then I think Hotshot has the best suggestion

-15Gs, 3sx aluminum pulley, FMIC, SAFC, walboro pump, EVO 560ccs, and Meth Injection Kit all waiting to go in shortly.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

DSM sidemounts actually outflow the HKS by quite a bit. I forgot the exact numbers, but the DSM sidemounts are much better than the HKS upgrades.

www.speedpartsrus.com (Custom Coach) just e-mail them for getting an intercooler for the 3000GT/Stealth cars

If you want to know what the custom coach 14 inch front mount looks like, look in my sig, and also check out my project update thread, there's a picture or two of it mounted without the front bumper on
