cooling fan runs all the time !!!!! help

I would appreciate any and all help, I have a 1989 celica gt non turbo, radiator cooling fan runs all the time, the condensor fan only runs w/ a/c on as designed. i've replaced the sensor and the relay any other ideas out there??? thanks again

ive got the same problem. is been awhile since ive looked at it (last year) but the prev owner must hae rigged the wiring to hook something up cuz theres a cut wire leading to somekinda sensor near the radiator. i konow its vague, but like i said its been awhile, ill look again if you still have this problem. i reconnected these wires once and the fan DIDNT turn on at all , i almost overheated the car cuz i didnt notice the guage, so i disconnected the wire again and im back to where i was...but it doesnt overheat at least. if u fix it, let me know what the prob was please

I have a 92' Celica Gt and the same thing happened to me i still havent got it fixed but the guy at the repair shop said that it was a cooling fan switch "pigtail" so i'm going to go have mine fixed. hope i was any help
