1g gs w/ 2.0-putting a turbo on,
i got a 1992 GS with a gst swap done, but now its getting really hard to find a gst engine in my part of Pennsylvania, so heres what i want to do, i got a 4g63 non-turbo from my old GS, im rebuilding the whole engine, but im wondering can i take a stock 14b from a eclipse and put that on my non-turbo engine once its done getting rebuilt?

Re: 1g gs w/ 2.0-putting a turbo on,
Anything is possible...As long as you rebuild it right and get it in pristine condition again. Also if you get all the other necissary components needed then yes...What are you planning to do with it once you are done?

Re: 1g gs w/ 2.0-putting a turbo on,
You sure can. The only thing that is different from the n/t and turbo 4g63 is the internals, and compression, basically. You would need an exhaust manifold for the turbo too.

Re: 1g gs w/ 2.0-putting a turbo on,
The cams, oil squirters, and pistons are the difference between NT and turbo. As long as you rebuild the NT engine with some turbo pistons and turbo cams you wont have any problem.
