Cruise control

Suddenly stoped working. I've check similar post on this forum and found that I need to check brake light as well. They work fine. Fuse is also ok. What else?

I had a problem with mine last year when my brake pads wore down. If I took my foot and pulled up on the brake pedal my cruise would work. Apperantly there was not enough fluid to keep the pedal off the cruise cut off switch.
