I have a 2004 tiburon. The face plate around the radio is flush with the surrounding dash panel. How do you remove the center panel arround the radio without damaging the dash?
I'm taking all suggestion.

Re: removing radio face plate
Open the ashtray
Put middle and index finger inside ashtray, hook them around bottom of bezel. pull on it! It should pop the bottom clips loose, then you just need to tug on it a bit more to get the rest of them off.

Re: removing radio face plate
Is this removal process the same for a 2007?

Re: removing radio face plate
Should be the same for 2007. I've never tried it, but I think it's just a different console with the same attachment.

Re: removing radio face plate
I had actually looked for the same thing awhile back. The best advise I would also suggest is pull with constant pressure. If you tug on it then it will break.
