2004 Mountaineer Keypad Code

Hi,

I just bought a 2004 Mountaineer and I am trying to find out how to get the factory code for the door lock keypad.

I have searched the forums for both the Mountaineer and Explorer and many have said that the code is located in the back where the tire jack is. There is nothing there in my car as I have a third seat there.

I have also seen people being referred to a website find find the code, however the website is no longer operational.

Can anyone help me here? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Re: 2004 Mountaineer Keypad Code

solved the problem. Well the code for the entry pad for my 2003 Mountnier is on the ecm. The ecm is located behind the rear door on the passenge side. Remove the panel on the inside and you will see it. The panel is just clipped on and no tools are needed. The code is on the White label on the ecm. It is 5 or 6 digets and they are written large off to one side of the lable. After you enter the code it will unlock the drivers door. then push the 3 and it will unlock all doors, then if you want push 5 and the rear glass will unlock. probly some other fetures that it does if you can figure them out. Good Luck.
