Question Tanabe coilovers??

Hey guys whats up. I'm looking to upgrade my suspension as one of my first mods on my 96 talon (awd) and I'm mostly looking for and inexpensive coilover that's not too complicated. Do any of you guy know anything about tanabe coilovers? I'm also unshure of which one to get. Just to let you know this will probably only be used on the street because there arent any tracks around here that I know of so I'm looking for a good ride, but with very good handiling.

Re: Tanabe coilovers??

If i can stop buying performanc parts for a couple weeks i'm planning on getting k-sports they go for about $700 on eGay. I've heard good things about them on dsmtuners.

As for your question, I have never heard of that brand, but if you want a good ride, cheap coilovers and good ride don't belong in the same sentence lol.

Re: Tanabe coilovers??

Never heard of Tanabe? That's probably because they're mostly found on JDM tyte drifter cars.. They get pretty good ratings as I hear, depends on what you want in terms of drag or course or even daily with a bit more sportiness. If money isn't an issue, JIC makes goos suspension. I'm planning to put some Tein SS fully adjustable suspension plus the electronic for on the spot adjustments on my FC.

Long story short, Tanabe can be a trusty name, but you get what you pay for.

Re: Tanabe coilovers??

Tanabe is a good brand. Are you looking for a full setup as one piece (Tein-SS) or a coilover setup and then some good aftermarket shocks? I personally like the Ground Control coilovers and some KYB's
