89 S10 timing

I think that the timing or something is bad on my 2.8. It misses when I lug it most of the time and it gives off popping sounds if I gun it and then let it fall off. Loss of power going up hills is really noticeable. New plugs and wires. What could be wrong here?

Timing doesn't usually go out on t's own, but I'm guessing that you have a good old fasioned vaccum leak somewhere.

Take out a can of WD40 and spray i on all the vaccum conections while the motor's running. When it revs up you found out where the leak is.
