engine code 15

i was making some adjustments inside my distributor and now the car is not running. the engine cranks over but wount start. the ecu is throwing and engine code flashing 15. it has to do something with the distributor cause it was running right after i did my oil change. can any body help

you said you made adjustments................so what adjustments did you make? pertinent info such as year, make, model would be nice to know too.

only thing i can think of is there may be a short or open wire from the ignition switch or the ignitor is gone. be nice to have a multimeter right now to narrow possibilities down. also wouldnt hurt to check if you knocked some wires around or in the ignitor which will cause the cel 15.

basically here are your scenarios:

1. the ignitor itself may be f#cked.
2. the wiring to and from the ignitor may be f#cked.
3. the wiring from and to the ignitor and coil may be f#cked.
4. or the ecu is f#cked.
