Damper Removal On A 90 Bonneville

I Need To Know How To Get The Damper (crankshaft Pulley) Off Of A 1990 Bonneville!

go to autozone.com/repairinfo enter the car go to repair info for guidelines.

If it has 3 threaded holes in the front of it, it's pressed on and you'll need a balancer puller to remove it. If it doesn't have the threaded holes, the crank snout boltholds it on, and is REALLY tight (like 240 ft/lbs tight), and you'll need a humongo breaker bar and an assistant to hold the flywheel from turning while you break that bolt loose.
