rear light

my sister has a 04 sunfire and the driver side brake light and blinker keep burning out the bulb. actually the bulb is ok its the plastic that slides into the outlet that melts the metal wire that goes into the bulb.....why??

too much current going to them. check the fuse

if its the correct size fuse, what else would i look for. and if it is to big of a fuse, wouldn't it pop the smaller fuse? then where would i look?
