Hi,

My 1995 C220 developed a small leak from the Radiator. I have taken a pic from top elevation.

Kind Regards

Re: Radiator leak

From that picture it looks like it's coming from the lower radiator hose.

Re: Radiator leak

Thanks

I have managed to open the plastic cover & view beneath to check the leak.
I have taken these pics, which shows there is no leak from the hose. But nearby there is a leak from the radiator. I also check the drain valve is tight & no leak.

On the pic, you can see a green drop of coolant is developing. I aslo took a pic from beneath the leak? Is this repairable using epoxy or resin sealent since it look like leaking from the side plastic overflow tank?

How many litre of coolant do I need to drain out of the tank so I can prepare a plastic container to catch the fluids?

Kind Regards

Re: Radiator leak

There seem to be wet near the pulleys, near the water pump. Is this a water pump leak or its a normal discharge by the water pump due to cooling system prob (like a leaking Radiator/loss of pressure?)
Can I top up my coolant & drive to my mechanic?
