92 4WD 4 cylinder stumbles

The car only bogs at low rpm's when your accelerating in evey gear, but stops "chugging" and runs smooth at higher rpm's. Also if you are idleing and rev it up to 2000rpm it wont stay on 2000rpm. I changed the spark plugs and spark plug wires, turned up idle speed and set the timing, and changed the fuel filter. It runs perfect if i spray carburator cleaner in the carburator before i drive it but that only works for a short time then it starts to bog again.

Thanks in advance

Re: 92 4WD 4 cylinder stumbles

Check compression on #4 cyclender if ok , then it is possable it's and injector or a intake manifold leak.

While it's running , Spray your carb cleaner along the intake manifold, If it clears up for a second , then it's a leak from the gasket. Gasket woudl need to be replaced.

GL..

Re: 92 4cyc stumbles

I fixed it by replacing the throttle position sensor
