89 Prelude si engine? 100?

ok i'm sure it's worth the buy just because, but is it a good base to do anything from...

i have a 97 civic lx with the D16Y7 i think it is, 1.6l SOHC

the guy didn't know the engine code but said is a 2.0l DOHC

anyone know the engine in it and is it worth messing with?

Probably the other B20A5 (not the same as the CRV engine). That engine has 110hp and 114tq. The other B-series parts aren't interchangeable with it. It's not worth the $, you should stick with something a lot newer.
