91 Sunbird speaker wireing

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=557846 they basically are the same wire colors as the pic he has in his car.( i think) ive recently changed the speakeres over to road masters (from wal-mart)(paid 20$ for them) but the terminal the wires go into are red and black what way should i hook them up. i bought the cheap connector converter so i didnt have to splice the wires. how do i hook them up? ill check the wire colors and give them to u when i have a chance too lookat them. basically the wires on the cheap connectore are black and white so on both speakers i hooked the black up to the black and white to red, should this be right? if these are hooked up wron please tell me how to hook them up.

the speakers you bought should be labeled positive and negative. Plug the harness you bought into the factory connector, and follow the color coding I gave in the thread you attached for which wire hooks where.
