long block? short block?

whats the difference between the long block engines and the short block engines?

I know most smart asses are gonna say 1 is long and the other is short, but what is the main reason to have 1 long and 1 short?

Re: long block? short block?

The long block includes the head and the short block doesn't.

Re: long block? short block?

Yep. Long Blocks usually also come with the Intake manifold and maybe the exhaust manifold and accessories(alternator, A/C, Powersteering) but yes, it atleast comes with the head.
