exciter ring !!!

So a new problem, this time i know what the issue is though. Long story short, I have a cracked exciter ring on the drivers side, anyone know of a way to fix it without removing the drive axle? I'm changing the driveshaft just to have the ABS working. Any suggestions would be great.

You didn't say what year Windstar you have but the exciter rings for the front are available seperately no matter what year you have. They are included with the half shaft, but you don't HAVE to replace the axle to chenge the exciter ring. You WILL have to remove the axle to install the new ring, however. MM.

that's what i thought, about removing the half shaft...not worth the effort required i dont think. Besides if aint broke, in this case even if it is, dont fix it.

Can it be welded?
