95 z34 BAD PROBLEM, need help...

Hello I just found your guys website, and I just wanted to let you know that I think its a good website. I have a red 95 monte carlo z34 and I am in the process of decking it out. But the first thing I have to do is fix my car. Every time I start it up in the morning or after it sits for a while and it gets started up my car shakes and then it idels up and down (RPM'S) then shuts off if you dont give it any gas. So far I had my mechanic try to fix it and he put in a new odene sensor,cool/temp sensor, and it still hasn't been fixed. I was wondering if anyone has had a problem like this, or one similar. If anyone could help me out, that would be great, thanks in advance, and I look forward to having you guys help me out. Thanks again.

My car gets taken into my mechanic again tommorow. I hope it gets fixed. I just noticed something though, sometimes my car leaks something. I am not sure what it is, anyway to find out. Whats the possible causes, I am thinking engine coolant? I just want my car fixed, so any more help would be appreciated, thanks.

The idling/stalling issue is most likely a bad IAC motor. It is a small stepper solenoid in the throttle body that regulates air intake at idle and part throttle. They get gummed up with deposits and stick, or the IAC motor itself has failed.

On the leak, what color is it and where does it seem to come from on the car? That will help a bunch in diagnosis.
