Power locks gone crazy

Figured I'd also look for help on the Blazer forum with this one...

My '96 Bravada started doing something crazy yesterday. When you exit the truck, the power locks lock themselves, then unlock, and then the rear glass pops open on its own. I have also noticed the keyless entry isn't working, and I suspected the batteries were getting a little low on that lately, as I had to be within a few feet of the truck for it to work. Don't know if there's any connection there.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Power locks gone crazy

I had the same problem with my 98 Jimmy. for me it turned out to be the rear glass button (the one on the tailgate itself) It seems that some water got in and was making the locks do everything you talked about. Might be the same thing. Haven't replaced mine yet but the problem went away and I wasn't finding one since it has the key lock in it.

Re: Power locks gone crazy

Thanks a bunch. I was also wondering about water getting into something electrical. It has been raining for about three days here around Boston.
