i am thinking of getting a rsx premium 2002 (acura) .

what are the advantages of getting a triptonic transmisison (what acura calls a 5 speed sequential sportshift" versus a manual transmission?

true, I got my "S" and I love it... LOVE IT. And this is coming from 11sec american muscle cars... the thing is awesome. get the 6 speed.
