I have an 2002 Envoy XL and have been looking for a denali style grill. Does the putco grille look just like the denali's or can you tell its a copy?
I got some of those HID look bulbs as well, and one of them went out a month later. Which kind did you get and from where? I bought mine from ebay for cheap, guess thats why it went out, but seller was cool and sent me new set. Still have stock bulbs in now, dont want to get pulled over for no headlight. Also that xcessories.com link didnt work. Thank you for your help! cool forum:evillaugh |

I've seen a lot of envoys with the grille I got...its sweet and around 100 bucks right now. www.putco.com
As for HIDS I sell them. I specifically have 8000k which are blueish 6000k which is the audi like purple and 4000k which is the pure white. I personally only go for the 8k. Its a shame to see that your's burned out already...at least you got a replacement. The brand is K2. If interested or have anyone interested contact me. Prices range from 450- 700. The 8k's are on sale this week for 650. Jon |

I will try to get you some pics near xmas time...Ill try to get the digital camera. If not please contact me directly. First if you would like contact me via email [email protected]. From their we can exchange phone numbers or what not. The HIDS are high intensity discharge systems. They are what BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Audi, Porsche, all expensive euro vehicles use. Have you ever driven and you notice on the other side of you a Beemer with very bright Blueish bulbs? Or even audi's purpilish bulbs...well these are HID lights. You will NOT whatsoever get the same effect on regular xenon bulbs..dont let anyone fool you. In fact a xenon bulb runs 30 bucks..how can you expect anything nice out of that. Im not trying to push the product but I can guarantee you that HIDS is the best upgrade I have on my vehicle...its unbelievable how many people just stare at these bulbs...and I love the people who ask me to roll down the window and ask questions about them. Not a lot of people know exactly what HIDS are...all they know is that there is some sweet looking lights on some cars...and Ill admit HIDS are the BEST lighting you can find. I have the 8000k's which are the blueish white HID kit. The lower you go the less on the kelvin scale...6000k is the audi purple and 4000k is the Lexus White bulbs...and so on...regular halogen bulbs are ugly and come stock with most vehicles...they are yellowish to barely white. HIDS last a lot longer and use a lot less electrical power. The kit comes complete with bulbs, ballasts and extra fuses. Installation takes about 10 minutes...you simply take off your old bulbs insert hids in..install ballasts and your done..come with instructions all though you probably wont need them. I think I remember you saying you had a white yukoin...do you know how sweet the 8k's would look with white? I have a black vehicle and I have the blue 8k's...I could have probably gotten a better look with the purple 6k's but I decided to go all out. 8k's are more expensive about 100 bucks more. White with blue would look real sharp. All of this is legal since they are not neon bulbs..they are HID systems from K2.
As for the grille it looks a LOT like the denali grille and Im telling you...Ive seen it on some envoys / yukons (which I have) and it looks very sharp...cant get any better. Yes it is like the denali grille but a bit thiner...not as thick and bulky as denali grille. http://www.suvxccessory.com/xccessory/g2j6-84102.html Here you can find it for around 140-160 I can probably get it for 125. But search around you can probably find it for 99.99. As for hids the following is pricing: 8k for 9006 bulbs 650 6k for 9006 bulbs 575 shipping may apply depending on where you are from. These same hids at murrays or auto zones runs 1k. Jon |
