wow. that lady is a hypocrite.
"using medicine derived from animal research, to save her life, so she can fight animal research, for the benefit of animals...." Those people are deranged. They should be forced to undergo mental evaluations.

PETA's just stupid. they're against pets, my dog lives a better life now than she could ever have in the wild. she eats good meals twice a day, gets water as much as she wants, gets cleaned, stays clear of parasites, stays virus free, gets walked regularly, sleeps when she wants, and gets loved by the family. another thing, any non-fast food animal gets the same kind of treatment, abundant food supply, cleaning, medical stuff, and they die quickly. sure you have the places like kfc where they dont treat them nicely, but then you think "well, there are people in africa that are living worse than those chickens" i mean what's more important, saving humans or saving animals? i'd say saving humans. like penn and teller said "We would kill every monkey with our bare hands to save one street junky with aids" and i would do the same, humans are more important than animals.
and thats without talking about all that hipocracy.

When one of the wacko's from ELF burns down a new developement or sets research animals free and they get arrested,PETA pays their legal fees.ELF is on the FBIs list of terror groups.PETA therefore is a terrorist organization.
