Whistle?
I hear an audible (but cool souunding) whistle when im WOT and above 4k rpm, all the way to 7.5 redline. The whistle isn't extremely loud, but audible by other drivers (my friend also heard it)
Could it just be whistle by the wind in my airbox? (i have k/n drop in filter) Was thinking maybe its just my timing chain tensioner that needs to be changed? No idea. =\ (It also only happens when im in gear, if im in neutral and rev it, nothing.) Maybe something with my transmission assembly? Clutch or something.....? Flywheel was resurfaced not too long ago, maybe something went wrong....... -Phil

I think thats just a srd20de characteristic. Mines been doin that since I got it. Sounds cool though I used to make a blowoff sound when it shifts. I got a stillen pop charger and the sound turns into a throaty grunt when you gun it.

Weird you mentioned the fly wheel.. did you replace your throw out bearing? If not, it could be the bearing... My friends civic does that noise bad, and it was 'cause his bearing couldn't handle the clutch to the fly wheel when he did an Si engine swap on his civic... course, the Honda and Nissan difference is immeasurable.....
