Air Conditioning

I have a 99 max and I only have about 37,327 miles on her. The only bad thing that went wrong with it is that the air conditioning just stopped working. One day it worked fine, and then the next it is spitting hot air out of it. Any idea what the heck is going on, and how much it would cost. Also, the dealer is offering me an extention on my bumper to bumper warranty for $1500 dollars.... that would extend the original warranty (3 year 36,000 mile) to a 7 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Should I just bite the bullet and get the extention and just take it to the dealer?

Take it man! I did it and now I dont regret.

Last week, my brake pads, my shocks and my anti-rattle just broke and they replace it for free! I have a 95 GLE!

While I'm all for taking it to the dealer to have it checked. It might not be that big of a problem. Have you had it checked to see what the problem is. It could be something simple as, out of gas. Before you spend all that money on extended warranties and what not, let them look at it and then make a decision on extending warranties and what not. Don't just jump the gun so quick.

Talking Go for it !

That big smile means that I have the Extended Warranty.

I own a 96 GLE and I had my brake pads, disks changed for

F R E E E E E E E

I would take it even because of the fact that one day you might want to sell your car and having that warranty WILL help you sell it and get a better deal then the other guys with maximas and no EW. The choice is yours.

PEace.

BTW, the air condition, it just might need a freon refill. If it's that , then you have a leaking pipe somewhere and you need to change that too. I'm not sure about the refill price but it shoudnt be more then 130$. The leak is a diffrent story, you'll need to check you A/C with your dealer or somethink. Ciao
