Re: Riv Headlights

Actual headlights glass and evrything look at junkyards.

BUt the bulbs are available in many stores. I just bought 9006+9005 Low high beam, total 4 bulbs, HID, for 17 bucks total with shipping from ebay. Im pretty satisfied. But I really dont like the look of the aged plastic covers for front turn signal lights and have no idea where to get "clear" type covers.

Re: Riv Headlights

you can get clear corner lenses online somewhere (i would give the site but i dont remember it) it also helps alot to take OOO (very fine) steel wool to get some of the hard oxidation off, then take some Brass-o (yea the brass cleaner/pollish) and carfully, so as not to take off paint, rub it over the lenses and let it haze then take it off with a towel, this helps get even more of the yellow out, and finally i take some rain-x and that stuff makes it last a little longer and takes out some more of the oxy. mine are not clear but they dont look too bad. the headlights will clear up really nice and stay that way but the lens plastic will oxydize after about a month.

Re: Riv Headlights

if you want to clean the corners, wet sand them with 1500 grit then buff them out.
