Help with Passlock 2 system

'01 Malibu 3.1

I am looking for someone locally in my area,(Palm Beach County)that knows how to bypass the passlock 2 system. This is my second time that I've had a problem with this. The first time, 31,000 miles ago. The dealer did the repair. (no charge). Had to replace the ignition key cylinder GM part# 12458191. What happens is you insert the key and it cranks over but no start. The theft lite flashes continuously. The fuel delivery is shut off to the injectors so it doesn't start. If you turn it off and then to an on position, wait ten minutes, it then resets the system. There is a workaround to this and I am seeking some help as I am not an auto mechanic. If there is anyone locally that can do this, please contact me at my email: [email protected] Thanks.

Re: Help with Passlock 2 system

Update: I contacted GM Chevy cust service by email. They responded in about 48 hours and said they would call me on the following sunday, they called and suggested I contact my local dealer. Did indicate with actually saying that they maybe could help out on this issue. Contacted local dealer, brought it in, had it back by end of day and N/C. Very nice of them to take care of this matter. This is the third key cylinder that's been put in the car. I may even have a shot at the lower manifold gasket issue if It ever happens on this car.
