Open Element wistle?????
Does anyone else's open element intake wistle at lower throttle and get pretty frekin loud when you stomp on it? Im assuming its the throttle body opening a little at lower throttle.......
Why doesnt everyone do this mod, its frekin awesome. Oh and I hear complaints about it getting hot air from the engine....I think I fixed that...... I personnally love it, but just wondering if anyone elses does the same thing.

Mine does the same thing. Did you get the drop base or non-drop?

That's the same thing that I've got. I think I'm going to change it to a non-drop base so that I can get rid of that copper colored spacer ring, it looks it would help airflow a lot if it was gone.

I get the heat coming from the engine too. But thats these cars why of letting hot air from the engine. If you swith the knob to cool it will close the heater core vents and the hot air will stop.

ahhh the old 305 tbi....i miss my old car.....*goes into a corner and cries*
The guy is going to sell it in about 2 months though..... hmmmmm ....thinking evil plans that involve bankruptcy.......
