My guess would be you need a better shock! perhaps one with a shorter stroke that's MEANT for lowering.

I've only seen that happen in extreme lowering situations... Konis shouldn't do that though. I'd also venture to say perhaps a part wasn't installed or installed properly.

there is a 2 inch washer thats supposed to keep the damper rod on place.. I bet that is busted or was missed.

sadly i think i know what your talkin about and i think it did get left, cuz i saw a washer layin around the other day looked like it was from my car........
