95 Altima GXE Fuel Problem or Electrical?

Hello All,
95 Nissan Altima GXE 204,000 miles... problem began with Cylinder 1 misfire over 1 year ago, changed wires, spark plugs, fuel filter, then Fule Injector 1.
then Fuel pump went out, and Distributor, Ignition Coil changed.
Then the real confusion began... car began to not start all electrical dash compents registering, car just dies suddenly. Car then restarts and sputters with low RPM's. Have mechanic and dealership both Diagnose. No CODES from either source (dealer or mechanic). Dealer states Intake Valve Cover gasket cracked leaking air, Distributor connections need replacing, throttle plate sticking. Mechanic then fixed Intake Valve Cover, replaced Mass Airflow Sensor, new Disributor (connections unsure what was done) changed Ignition Coil, replaced last 3 fuel injectors. Car won't turn over again after driving 20 miles. I expect it will eventually restart but am confused..... Does this sound Fuel related if so any guesses.... or electrical.... anyone had this similar issue?
Thanks, Lyn

Re: 95 Altima GXE Fuel Problem or Electrical?

Oh boy.. sounds like you replaced everything. As i was reading your situation it sounded like a distributor, But you replaced it with no prevail. This is an interesting one to try to figure out without having the car to see what it's doing or to run tests, From my end it's all guess work

So here is some of my guess work. I would think it would be electrical at this point. I would start checking the signals out of the ecm to the distributor. Making sure that signal is good. Then i would check injector pulse. Is this Car a stick or automatic. I am also assuming that the intake manifold gasket was replace not the valve cover gasket , unless it was leaking oil into the spark plug galleys , Cause a valve cover gasket i have never seen give you a vacuum leak. I would start by checking your signals from the ECM . If they are good and fuel pressure is good. Then i would look at components.. GL
