Just Bought a 03 1500 Today. My First Truck!
I'm new here, so hello! I just got a 2003 Silverado 1500 V6 white to haul my moto-x bikes. Picked it up for $14,995 with 26,000 miles. Truck is in mint condish and looks brand new. So, I'v been a japanese owner forever. This is my first Chevy! How do these trucks hold up? Any major problems with these years or anything I should know about?
Well thanks and hope I don't need to be asking about fixing anything anytime soon

cool man you got pics???? I too have a v6 silverado I paid a bit less for mine and it had about 70k miles is yours a escb??? since i have bought my truck the ses light has been on for a check valve for emissions stuff for a while not serious at all so if that light comes on dont freak out like i did it could just be a gas cap or something I recommend buying a chilton manual so you could get more intune with your truck and reading up on the forums

ESCB? lol Sorry, I better go get familiar with the truck....
Edit: It's just a work truck model. Base. Nothing fancy except for a magnaflow full exhaust and tinted windows.

Welcome man, hope you're enjoying your new Silvy.
There really aren't any major problems to be concerned with. But if you do run into problems just asks us and well do the best we can to help diagnose it.
