CD not taking CDs

Got a 1999 Alero that we just bought. It's been working good, but just tonight, it stopped taking CDs. I'd try to put in a CD, and it sounded like it was taking it, but wouldn't. Any ideas?

I have heard of problem like this, you will probley need a new cd player unless its still under worrintey(sp)
