oil loss

I had my oil change less 500 miles ago and it was over the 2nd line on my dipstick, now its below the first line. I ran it hard couple of times. Could it be my turbo? I had my sister video tape my exhaust at idle while I rev at it. I saw some bluish smoke not very much though.

Another question, how come my clutch sometimes losses pressure. Most of the times when I go to school in the morning when my car is just sitting for a period of time. Sometimes while driving too. I have to pump my clutch I'm guessing I need to bleed it

Re: oil loss

Could be turbo or piston rings do a compression test just to see. For the clutch it sounds like you either have a bad slave or master cylinder. It's not a bad idea to repplace both. You can also go for ss lines someone (roadrace maybe) makes a full ss clutch line (master to slave) for $100. Master and slave together are about $120 from rockauto.com.

Re: oil loss

Yeah thats true, even easier to check for. Just take off the oil fill cap while it's idling and feel if there is a lot of air blowing out, if so it's bad valve stem seals.

Re: oil loss

find out if it happens after you shift, then its probably valve seals
