Check engine light will not come on
usually when the key is in the on position when the veh is not running the check engine light comes on. ever since my car stalled and will not start back up the check engine light does not come on at all.
 Why does this peice of junk have to do this to me? I cant get any codes because of this thru the on board computer. Any ideas?

The car hates you! It doesn't like your attitude and is teaching you a lesson! It probably hates your Nissan, too!
