Short version
I need to know what information i need to get from my 97 trans sport to match up with a donor tranny to make sure it will work in my van.

Also i have an ALLDATA subscription for the 97 Trans Sport if any body need any info i can get and post it for YA

and a vin decoding site too, already searched the web and couldn't find anything specific to the 97

Any salvage yard has a direct inter change book, rpo code for trans should be on the pan or the m number in the rpo codes on the van, gear ratios are also a concern here.

thanks for the info. I did find a vin decoder on the ALLDATA site and now i'm lookin for the RPO label location, they have a page explaining info found on it including gear ratio's and such. There are several locations where it could be so i'll check them out till i find it. and then go from there
