What to do

Hello everyone, havent been on here in a long time. Some of you might remember me posting on here a long time ago if not who cares. Anyway my truck after proving how much of a "B.A." it is and how pwerfull chevy trucks are finally gave up on me. My engine is pretty far gone and will either have to be replaced or rebuilt. Just wondering if i did get a new engine would it be alot of troouble to swith to a 5.3 instead of my old 4.8?

Man, go with a 6.0L. All of your accessories, wiring, etc will drop right on the 6.0L off of the 4.8L. If you're going to upgrade, you might as well go with the best out there. You can pick up a good 6.0L for the price of a 5.3L. I swapped my 4.8L for the 6.0 and have loved it ever since. You'll be glad you made the swap.
