which ecu should i use?

here is the deal...
i have a 1992 cx (the one that came with 8 valves and 60hp)... well the motor was going bad and i found a good deal on a motor from a 89 dx... the motor is now in the hatch... I'm currently using the cx ecu... it runs okay, a lil sluggish but it moves... i was just wondering if it is a good idea to get a diff ecu and if u think so which one should i get ?? not looking for anything fancy just trying to use all 16 valves(not sure if the # of valves matter on ecu)... i would also like to mention the 89 motor is an obd0 and my hatch is obd1 (i'm using obd1 harness with a obd0 motor, so in other words I'm asking which obd1 ecu should i get?) thx,Lo

Re: which ecu should i use?

Probably a P06 from the '92-'95 DX and LX would be your best bet.

Re: which ecu should i use?

yes i know . i speak about the d15b2 , its my old engine. it have a small carb on it , and i think the ecu which design for carb can not work with the ecu which design for the injectors. i still have its ecu p04. you can buy it if you would like. its so cheap here because all here prefer the injection.

Re: which ecu should i use?

It must be a different engine here in the US then, because ours isn't carb'd. And our ECU for that engine is the PM5.
