HLJ kicks ass once again!

Look what i got in the mail!!!

Pretty fast, 11 days from the date they shipped it. This was by SAL.

I'd like to thank P-man for the inspiration for buying the TE37's.

Now would anyone like to suggest a color combination?

My initial plans are, Silver with a Black Top, ALA NSX style (but it did appear on the MR2) and Gunmetal TE37's or else Bronze.

nice kit you got there, the silver and gunmetal should look great, I have those te-37s myself (came with my evo III kit). But with that mr2 kit, you definitely need to do some suspension mods because it sits too high up especially with 18 inch wheels. Try and check out Hirofkd's site sorry don't have the url here with me.

I love MR2s. I need to get more.

Silver/black w/ gunmetal TE37s sounds great to me! I couldn't bring myself to paint the side mouldings black on my blue MR2. Will you?

Cool, man. What will you do for the badges? I built the Fujimi "NEW MR2 SW20" kit (from 1993) and it was badged as a GT.

What is yours marked as? Toyota at left; "turbo" at right and MR2 honeycomb in the middle? or have you swapped your tails? Have you posted any pics of your real car yet?

Ok now i feel ripped off!!!

hahaha j/k, anyways.. i just checked the kit again, it's badged as a G-Limited and it does not have the Raised engine lid!!! they gave me the NA version (SW21) argh!!!

oh well no biggie, i guess fujimi has 2 of these bodies going around. I think i got the NEW MR2 SW20 body... my last one came with the raised engine lid vents.

so i guess now i'll just have to build a NA (SW21) version.

TIME TO RE ORDER!

jay, here's a pic of my MR2, it used to look like that.. until i broke the front lip a Autocross. Currently i'm getting a new lip and painting my stock wheels to ressemble the 10th anniversary mr2 (GUNMETAL)

yes mine is badged toyota on the left, turbo on the right and the honeycomb lights... i have not changed the lights yet but i will soon!
Modelling has made me broke, as well as the other go fast parts for my car
