Light bulbs/stereo display

I just bought a used 1997 Sunfire and don't have an owners manual. My bulbs that light up the "Pontiac" sign are burnt out, how they heck do you take these out?

Also, my display on the stereo (date/radio station, etc) keeps disappearing, most of the time it's off. The rest of it works fine and all the buttons are lit up except for the clock area. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
