What to look for.

Hi guys. I'm looking at buying a 1994 Amigo tomorrow. Is there anything I should look for before I buy it? (Common problems.) How underpowered is the 4 cyl? Thanks in advance!

I just got logged in and was wondering if you bought that Amigo or not ?
If no I can still give you a few things to look for.

Yes, I bought the Amigo. The only problem is that it has a rough idle and hesitates a bit when accelerating. It runs smooth at highway speeds. Any ideas? I've already changes the spark plugs and it didn't help.

Mine was a bit sluggish as well. I had quite a few cracked vacuum hoses and loose connections. That seemed to help quite a bit. Might try running some injection cleaner through it. I did that as well.
