89' has problems starting

My 'bird gives me problems starting after i drove it a little whil and let it sit. All it does is cough and maybe sputter then dies. I usually have the pedal floored to get this reaction else nothing happens. My father mentioned for me to ask anyone about fault codes? Any help would be appriciated. We changed the fuel injectors and the starter, that was going out too, but it didn't help much. It's been doing this since i got it and when ever it does this i have to sit and try and try and try and eventually it will start. Any help or suggestions? We're lost.

We tried that one out and it doesn't seem to be the problem...
